• Pahalgam (Baisaran Valley): This is the most popular pony route. The path takes you through dense pine forests and steep climbs to reach 'Mini Switzerland', a massive hilltop meadow.
• Gulmarg (Khilanmarg): Ride from the main meadow up to the base of the mountains. It's a great alternative for those who prefer not to take the Gondola or want to see the meadows at a slower pace.
• Sonmarg (Thajiwas Glacier): A pony ride is the easiest way to reach the base of the Thajiwas Glacier if you don't wish to hike.
